Went skydiving

I've never really made new years' resolutions.

Yes.

Both my grandfathers died this year.

5. What countries did you visit?

None but the one I live in.

6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
I dunno... maybe someone special in my life?

Umm... I've never been that good at remembering dates, to be honest.

 

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

This is the first time I've had a job for longer than a year... and I'm loving it.

9. What was your biggest failure?
Um... I don't know. I try not to keep track of, evaluate and categorise my failures...

10. Did you suffer any illness or injury?
Nothing serious.

11. What was the best thing you bought?
Ooh... hard to say.

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Mum, for surviving a nasty accident.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and/or depressed?

The brother of a friend of mine.

14. Where did most of your money go?

I've spent a lot on Christmas presents... and for the rest of the year... just stuff, I guess.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

Hm... skydiving?

16. What song(s) and/or ablum(s) will always remind you of 2008?

Uh... Life on Mars? by David Bowie, I guess, since this is the year I discovered my new favourite TV show by the same name.

Writing

To be honest, I've been pretty good this year.

With my family

I'm not good at picking favourites.

Uh... I suppose the only new band I discovered this year is "Cloud Cult"...

A new bag

Um... I dunno.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
I don't know... Wall-E maybe?

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I don't remember, and I turned 23. (Yikes, I'm almost 24! That's one year from 25!)

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?

To be honest, this is one of the most satisfying years I've had in a long time. So I'm going to say... going to outer space.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008? 

Uh... wear whatever's clean? And then, sometimes it wasn't even that clean, after all...

34. What kept you sane?
My sanity wasn't really something I was concentrating on this year, to be honest.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Umm... David Tennant, I guess. And John Simm. And Philip Glenister, sort of. I must really like those UK fellows!

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
I try not to get stirred up too much by politics.

37. Who did you miss?
My old grade-six teacher. And my brother, who moved to Sydney.

38. Who was the best new person you met?

I don't like to categorise people into favourites. I've met a few great people this year.

Some people can be WAY to sensitive.
